Marcus is a highly experienced disputes lawyer and litigator. He is dual-qualified, having practised as Solicitor-Advocate in the UK before emigrating to Australia more than a decade ago.
He represents clients across a range of industries and sectors, with a focus on large-scale, complex, ‘bet-the-company’ litigation, corporate disputes, and contentious probate in the superior courts.
Marcus has represented an array of clients across the globe, including ASX 100 companies, the major Australian banks and insurers, the ACCC, government (State/Territory and local) and governmental organisations, professional sports players, and Special Forces personnel.
Marcus regularly appears as advocate and has represented his clients in the District Court, Supreme Court, Court of Appeal and Federal Court (Australia), and in the County Court, High Court, and Court of Appeal (England and Wales).
He has acted as trial counsel and represented clients in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) processes both in England and Australia.
