Liam has extensive experience in commercial, corporate and finance law, and supports organisations across a broad range of industries with their commercial operations, corporate transactions and financing arrangements.
He has acted on many corporate transactions through their entire lifecycle – from early negotiations to closing, and to dealing with post-closing issues.
Liam has a deep understanding of finance and financial regulation, having worked in both Sydney and London advising major financial institutions on the regulatory aspects of their operations and organisations.
He is also experienced in advising on, negotiating and drafting a broad range of commercial agreements across a variety of sectors, including technology, mining services, agribusiness, construction, energy, mining, and local government.
Liam particularly enjoys advising start-ups and established businesses in the technology space, and his ability to provide practical and commercial advice is complemented by his own experience as the founder of a successful fintech start-up (which he exited in 2018).
